John the Baptizer preparing the way for Yahweh Himself

Matthew 11:10

For this is he of whom it is written Behold I send MY messenger before THY face who shall prepare THY way before THEE ^{[Malachi 3:1, Isaiah 40:3]}

Comments: ^{Matthew 11:10} In Malachi 3:1, we see the same dynamic of YAHWEH speaking of HIMSELF in both first and third person. Who was John the Baptizer preparing the way for? Isaiah said he was preparing the way for YAHWEH Himself ^{Isaiah 40:3}. Malachi said he was preparing the way for ADON—the LORD. For the Jew, there is only ONE LORD ^{[Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:5]}. Jesus is YAHWEH.
