He answered and said to them He that sowed the good seed is the Son of Mortals The field is the kosmos The good seed are the Children of the Kingdom but the bearded-darnels are the children of the wicked one The enemy that sowed them is diabolos The harvest is the conclusion of the aiōnos [ages] and the reapers are the angels As therefore the bearded-darnels are gathered and burned in the fire so shall it be at the conclusion of the ages aiōnos. The Son of Mortals shall send forth his angels and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and them which do iniquity And shall cast them into a furnace of fire Jude :7 there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father Who has ears to hear let them hear
Comments: Matthew 13:38 The kosmos could include the entire universe or just planet earth. When referring to earth, the word could include only the planet and all its inhabitants. It could also reference the entire arranged order of things on planet earth, the systems and cultures whereby humanity has arranged themselves. Context alone determines what any given reference to the kosmos refers to.
Matthew 13:40 The enemy of our souls will have his false prophets and false ministers in every time and every season, but more so at the ends of the ages [aiōnos]. Jesus said, “For there shall arise pseudochristos and pseudoprophētēs and produce great signs and wonders so that if possible shall deceive the very elect.”
The ends of ages will be times rife with fakes who look so much like the real thing they will blend completely until maturity—wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Note from the editor: I read my Bible every day, always picking up today where I left off yesterday. I call this my “on-track” Bible reading. I have been doing this for over 44 years. It was the best advice I was ever given, and it changed my life. If you are not presently doing the same, I invite you to join me. How much you read on a daily basis isn’t important. It only matters that you read, feeding your spirit with a prayerful dose of the Alive and Powerful Word of God.
